本公司成立于1988年，是鄂尔多斯集团(母体企业1979年成立）专门的进出口贸易公司，主要负责集团所需的燃料、辅料、设备等，出口集团所有产品。从原料到出口一条龙（原料、分梳，染色，纺纱、编织、机织、检验、技术）都有专门的工厂或部门，各个环节都可控。设备主要从意大利、日本、德国进口。有700多台斯拖尔横机和岛精机。现集团的产业包括铁合金、化工、煤电、地产等。2004年销售额41亿人民币，2005年出口创汇1.95亿美元,销售额67亿元人民币。
